1. Which laser does TattooClear use?

At TattooClear, we use the most advanced technology to effectively remove tattoos. We work with the Quanta Q-Plus Evo C laser, a so-called Q-Switched laser that has three different wavelengths: Ruby 694nm, Nd:YAG 1064nm, and 532nm. These diverse wavelengths allow us to treat almost all ink colors effectively.

This distinguishes us from other salons that often use cheaper lasers with only one wavelength (usually referred to as an Nd-Yag laser). These lasers are limited to removing black tattoos and can cause problems when a black tattoo later contains other colors.

During the treatment, the laser light penetrates the top layer of skin to reach the ink particles in the tattoo. The emitted energy pulverizes these ink particles into tiny fragments, which can then be removed by the body. The removal process takes some time, which is why we schedule treatments about 8 weeks apart.
